FIRST REPUBLIC BANK (NYSE:FRC) reported its second quarter earnings results on Tuesday 14th July 2020 before market open.

The private banking business services, reported $ 1.40 income per share for the quarter, beat the consensus estimate of $ 1.17 income per share by $ 0.23 or 19.66 percent.

The quarterly earnings escalated 12.90 percent compared with the same quarter last year.

The firm had revenue of $ 943.42 million for the quarter, compared to the consensus estimate of $ 912.52 million. The revenues topped analysts estimates by $ 30.90 million or 3.39 percent.

The Bank declared a cash dividend for the second quarter of $0.20 per share of common stock, payable on August 13, 2020 to shareholders of record as of July 30, 2020. The current quarterly dividend is an increase from the same quarter last year.
