Barnes & Noble Education, Inc (BNED) Reports 4Q20 Loss Of $ 0.84; Revenues Down

Barnes & Noble Education, Inc (NYSE:BNED) outlined its fourth quarter earnings results on Tuesday 14th July 2020 before market open.

The bookstores operator for college and university campuses, reported $ 0.84 loss per share for the quarter, missed the consensus estimate of $ 0.48 loss per share by $ 0.36 or 75 percent.

The firm had revenue of $ 256.89 million for the quarter, compared to the consensus estimate of $ 220.54 million. The revenues topped analysts estimates by $ 36.35 million or 16.48 percent.

The financial report showed revenues decreased 23.18 percent versus fourth quarter of last year.
